Coach Cindy Corrado possesses more than 25 years of competitive softball playing, training and coaching experience. She has played third base, catcher and first base in her softball career and has received numerous defensive and offensive awards. Her playing experience includes the College circuit, women’s and co-ed travel teams, law enforcement Olympic team as well as the Women’s Open Semi-Pro. Some of her most notable accomplishments include:
- Lake City Community College All American, 1983 – 1984
- Women’s National World Series Champion, 1984
- Law Enforcement Olympic Team Champion, 1996 – 1998
- Co-Ed National “A” Champion – 1999
- National World Series Champion, Women’s Semi-Pro All American, 2001
- National All American, 2002
- Women’s “A” Travel Teams – 2001 – 2007
Through her participation on national, state and local softball teams, Coach Cindy has experienced life’s lessons through the sport of softball. It is Coach Cindy’s belief that the sport encourages teamwork, determination, perseverance, courage, confidence, composure and a “never, ever, ever, giving up” attitude.
Because of her love of the game, Coach Cindy has committed herself to empower and teaching future generations of young softball players. She is dedicated to not only enhancing each player’s softball skills but also to equipping them with the mental skills to be successful on and off the playing field. By creating and building confidence and self-esteem, each player will “never, ever give up.”
